ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give necessary police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his property, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 18.07.2024.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that representation dated 18.07.2024 would be considered on merits and the decision would be taken within a period of two weeks.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the grievance raised by the petitioner, this Court directs the respondent police to consider the 2/4

representation of the petitioner within a period of six (2) weeks from today. The petitioner may also be afforded an opportunity of hearing, if required.
