For Respondent : Mr. M. Vaikkam Karunanithi, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.58/2022 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners / accused, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294 (b) and 324 IPC in Crime.No.58 of 2022, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to the land dispute between the petitioners and the defacto complainant, the petitioners have attacked the defacto complainant with deadly weapons and caused injuries. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent and they have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and their names have been falsely implicated in this case and seeks anticipatory bail. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.18859 of 2022 4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that the petitioners attacked the defacto complainant with deadly weapons and caused grievous injuries. He would further submit that the injured is still in hospital and he strongly opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the injured has not been discharged from the hospital, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
