ORDER

The petitioner, a resident of Thottamangalam Village, has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents 3 and 5 to consider his representation dated 04.08.2025 and give adequate police protection for conducting temple festival of Shri Periyanayagi Amman and Karuppar, situated at Thottamangalam Village, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, on 28.08.2025 and 29.08.2025.

2. When this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, by referring to the order passed by this Court in 2/4

W.P.(MD)No.22814 of 2025, submits that a similar writ petition has been filed by another villager of Thottamangalam Village and this Court, by order dated 21.08.2025, has disposed of the writ petition, directing the officials respondents to depute the police officials to ensure that the temple festival is conducted in an orderly manner. Therefore, he seeks to grant similar relief.

3. In view of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.22814 of 2025, dated 21.08.2025, no further order is required to be passed in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. No costs. 22.08.2025 ogy NCC : Yes / No.
