ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.01.2016 in accordance with law within a stipulated time.

2. According to the petitioner, the Government land in Survey No.1099 is a vacant land and they are using it as a play ground for several years and now, the second respondent has attempted to grant patta to several ineligible persons. Therefore, he submitted a representation to stop surveying the land, on 18.01.2016, before the second respondent, however, same has not been considered. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate, by referring to the proceedings of the Sub Collector, Cheranmadevi, dated 25.07.2016 submits that free patta, issued in favour of certain people in Survey No.1099/1A, are cancelled. 2/4

4. Recording the same, this writ petition is closed as no further order is required. No costs.
