Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other Writ or direction in the nature of Writ, directing the 2nd respondent to take action upon the 1st respondents proceedings in Na.Ka.No.G2/3331/36179/2019 dated 29.08.2019 and to pass any further or other order as this Honourable Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice. O R D E R

The petition has been filed to punish the respondent for noncompliance of the order passed by this Court in W.P(MD)No.2895 of 2021, dated 16.02.2021, thereby directed the second respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders in the proceedings of the Superintendent of Police, Theni District, dated 29.08.2019, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

CONT.P.(MD)No.1949 of 2021 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that as directed by this Court, the Superintendent of Police, Theni District, has requested the Registrar of Co-operative Society to conduct enquiry under Section 81 of Co-operative Societies Act, 1912 and now the enquiry is in progress.

3.Therefore, after completion of the enquiry, the respondent has to pass appropriate orders. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed. No costs.
