The petitioner claiming himself to be the husband of the detenu, has filed this Habeas Corpus Petition to produce the body of the detenu named Lonisha, who is said to have married the petitioner on 16.09.2022 and is in the illegal custody of the respondents 4 to 7.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, an enquiry was conducted by the third respondent police and it was ascertained that the detenu had married the fourth respondent on 22.09.2022 and is now living with him. A statement to that effect has also been given by the detenu before the respondent police and the same was also produced before this Court.
3. In view of the above, no further orders can be passed in this Habeas Corpus Petition and it will be left open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
