Government Advocate (Criminal Side) O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to provide suitable Police protection to the petitioner, on the basis of a complaint given by the petitioner in C.S.R.No.1937 of 2023.

2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that there are disputes between the petitioner and the third respondent in respect of the immovable properties and the third respondent has been threatening the petitioner and trying to intervene in the properties belonging to the petitioner, thereby, the petitioner has filed a complaint before the respondent Police and the respondent Police have not taken up the enquiry. Therefore, sought for suitable directions.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submits that the respondent Police have registered the complaint of the petitioner as C.S.R.No. 1937 of 2023 and enquiry is going on and as per the enquiry done so far, it is 2/4

submitted that the dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent is purely civil in nature and though the petitioner has appeared for the enquiry, the third respondent failed to appear.

4. Considering the submissions made by both sides and on perusal of records, this petition is disposed of, directing the respondent Police to complete the enquiry as quickly as possible not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to mention that, in case, if the third respondent is intending to trespass into the land belonging to the petitioner, the respondent Police are directed to take stern action against the third respondent.
