ORDER

Heard Mr.R.Karunanidhi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.Satheeshkumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for all the respondents.

2.The writ petition has been filed in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, seeking a direction against the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the application of the petitioner dated 07.12.2021. The petitioner seeks a temporary license owing to the ensuing Christmas and New Year Festivals for selling crackers. He had necessary permission, which has been granted earlier. He seeks permission once again. Let me be quite brief in the order, since the petitioner has come to the Court at the very last minute. 3.A mandamus is given to the District Revenue Officer, who had not been impleaded in the writ petition but who is now suo-motu https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.22609 of 2021 impleaded as the third respondent/The District Revenue Officer, District Revenue Office, Collectorate, Tirunelveli-627 009 must consider the said representation dated 07.12.2021 and pass an order on or before 23.12.2021. I am being very brief, since I am conscious that the newly impleaded District Revenue Officer has very less time to pass necessary orders but let him consider and pass an order in manner known to law.

4.Registry is directed to issue the order copy after impleading the third respondent in the writ petition. The learned Additional Government Pleader may also inform the said office about the nature of the order passed.

5.With the above observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
