To issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus or any other appropriate order or direction in the nature of Writ, calling for the records relating to the impugned order in Group.A:24822:2016 dated 29.03.2016 passed by the 1st respondent, quash the same and further direct the respondent bank to regularize the service of the petitioner with all consequential service and monetary benefits within a time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court and pass such further or other orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice.

J U D G M E N T
When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the prayer in the writ petition had become infructuous and, therefore, requested that the petition be dismissed as such. He was accordingly directed to make an endorsement to that effect. Pursuant thereto, the learned counsel made a lengthy endorsement stating 2/5
that this writ petition had become infructuous and that the order of the State Level Scrutiny Committee, impugned herein, is under challenge in W.P. Nos. 29955 and 29959 of 2024 before the Principal Seat at Madras. It was further submitted that the petitioner may be permitted to not press this writ petition with liberty to pursue the challenge to the impugned order in this writ petition, subject to the outcome of the above writ petitions in W.P. Nos. 29955 and 29959 of 2024. This Court is not inclined to go into the depth of the endorsement. 2.In view of the oral submission made for dismissal of the writ petition as infructuous, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.
