ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.
2. The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.326 of 2015 registered on the file of the respondent police. The petitioner had lost their jewellery on 12.08.2015. The grievance of the petitioner is that though more than six years have elapsed, the respondent could not conclude the investigation.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that in spite of the efforts taken by the respondent, the case could not be cracked. The respondent, therefore, proposed to file the final report in this case as "Undetected". The respondent is directed to file the final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.20360 of 2021 issue RCS notice to the petitioner herein and the petitioner can file protest petition.
