ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to issue building plan approval for the petitioner Gurumahal situated at Peraiyur Road, Usilampatti Madurai District.

2. Mrs.D.Farjana Ghoushia, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the 1st respondent and Mr.A.Kannan, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the 2nd respondent.

3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

5. Considering the fact that the writ petition is kept pending for a long time, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, is directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.12.2018 and explanation of the petitioner dated 2/4

26.12.2018 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three (3) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
