O R D E R

This Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition invoking under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, has been filed relating to a matrimonial 1/4

dispute between the parties. The Wife, viz., E.Aarthi Poornima, has filed H.M.O.P. No. 171 of 2023 seeking for divorce against his Husband, viz., M.Sundaresan, in the Family Court, Thanjavur, which is sought to be transferred by the Husband to the Family Court, Chengalpattu. 2.

Heard Mr. G.Mohanakrishnan, Learned Counsel for the Husband, Mr. K.Mahendran, Learned Counsel appearing for the Wife and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 3.

Learned Counsel appearing for the Husband and the Wife agree that the case may be conducted at the Family Court, Trichy, which could be conveniently accessed by both parties, and they have made a joint endorsement to that effect in the court record.

In view of the same, the case in H.M.O.P. No. 171 of 2023 on the file of the Family Court, Thanjavur is transferred to the Family Court, Trichy and both parties shall appear before that Court on 05.06.2024 for conduct of further proceedings from its present stage and on the subsequent dates to which it is adjourned from time to time till final order is passed. 2/4

In the result, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is ordered on the aforesaid terms. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
