PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to name the Government buildings after the name of the Santhanakumarpatti village as it was earlier instead of Madiyanur and consequently desist the 4th respondent from executing the Resolution No. 39 of Avudaiyanoor Panchayat, dated 29.07.2016.

resolution was passed by the District Collector, Tirunelveli/the second respondent to name the public buildings as Madiyanur Village.
