ORDER
The patta granted in favour of the petitioner was cancelled by the Revenue Divisional Officer, by order dated 11.06.2002. As against the same, the petitioner has preferred a revision before the District Collector, instead of filing the same before the District Revenue Officer. The District Collector has forwarded the revision to the District Revenue Officer and in the meantime, the petitioner, with a grievance that his revision has not been considered by the authorities, has filed this writ petition. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the District Revenue Officer has disposed of the revision petition filed by the petitioner. He has also produced a copy of the proceedings of the District Revenue Officer dated 06.01.2023.
3.Learned Counsel for the petitioner intervened and submitted that the District Revenue Officer has not considered the case of the petitioner and the 2/4
lands belonging to this petitioner and that the order dated 06.01.2023 pertains to some other person.
4.Since this writ petition is filed for a mandamus to dispose of the revision petition and the same has now been disposed of, this writ petition stands closed, as no further order is required to be passed. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order dated 06.01.2023 of the District Revenue Officer in the manner known to law and he can raise all his grounds therein. No costs.
