PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's request for Transfer from Bangalore Circle to Chennai Circle on spouse joining grounds in light of the Circular No.CDO/P&HRD-IR/63/2013-14 dated 11.01.2014 issued by the second respondent within the time frame stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's request for Transfer from Bangalore Circle to Chennai Circle on spouse joining grounds in light of the Circular No.CDO/P&HRD-IR/63/2013-14 dated 11.01.2014 issued by the second respondent.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 2 to 4 would submit that as per communication dated 20.02.2017 passed in HR ICT No.3155 by the Assistant General Manager (HR), the prayer sought for in this writ petition has now become infructuous and the copy of the said communication dated 20.02.2017, has been enclosed in the typed set of papers of in W.P.(MD) No.12604 of 2017. 3.In view of the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 2 to 4, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. It is open to the petitioner to challenge the said communication dated 20.02.2017 if she is so advised. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
