The prayer in the present writ petition seeking for a direction to the first respondent to transfer the petitioner and accommodate her in any other vacancy under the fourth respondent Hospital, cannot be sustained, since the transfer of post cannot be claimed as a matter of choice or right. The transfer is incidental to service, more so, a condition of service. Such decisions to transfer are administrative prerogatives of the Government and cannot be used as a right by the employees to have them transferred.

2. Hence, there are no merits in the prayer sought for in the writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
