O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to provide Police Protection to life and limb of the Petitioner from the 4th respondent and his henchmen.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner purchased a second hand two wheeler from the fourth respondent for Rs.25,000/- and Rs.20,000/- was paid and Rs.5,000/- is yet to be paid. For non payment of Rs.5,000/-, the fourth respondent stolen the above said two wheeler from the petitioner and abused the petitioner using filthy language and also made criminal intimidation to the petitioner. Hence, a complaint has been made by the petitioner before the respondents Police, but till date, no action has been taken on the said complaint. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the respondents Police are directed to consider the complaint of the petitioner, dated 10.10.2022, and pass appropriate 2/4

orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents Police has no serious objection for such an order being passed by this Court.

5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents Police to consider the petitioner's complaint, dated 10.10.2022, if not already disposed of, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving opportunity to the fourth respondent.
