Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to directing the 2nd respondent to take necessary action agaist the 6th respondent in view of the directions passed in Petition no.11305/2019/MISC-SG dt 23.10.2019 on the file of the 1st respondent for the illegal name transfer of the petitioners vehicle namely a Maruti Suzuki manufacture Alto model having Silky Siver colour bearing reg no.TN 63 AB 4019 in favour of the 7th respondent and directing the 5th respondent to re-transfer the name of the petitioner in the R.C.Book of the said vehicle For Petitioner : Mr.V.Kannan For Respondent : Mr.M.Prakash Additional Government Pleader

This contempt petition is closed, as the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sivagangai has confirmed that the vehicle in question has not been transferred in the name of Uma Nachiyar in response to the application filed by the petitioner under the Right to Information Act, reply was received on 24.07.2020, wherein it has been stated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Cont.P.(MD) No.1987 of 2022 that the vehicle is under hypothecation and in the absence of No Objection Certificate from the financier, transfer is not permissible. Therefore, there is no merits in this contempt petition.
