ORDER

This petition is filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.14 of 2023 on the file of the respondent No.1 dated 19.06.2023 in so far as the petitioners are concerned.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that a case in Crime No.14 of 2023, was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 403 and 506(1) of IPC and Section 4 of TN Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, on 19.06.2023 as against the petitioners and other. This petition is filed seeking quashment.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the first respondent would submit that the investigation has been completed and the final report was filed before the concerned trial Court through Efiling No.202300008, on 15.11.2023 and it has not been taken on file so far.

4.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), there shall be a direction to the concerned trial Court to process the said final report within the time stipulated as per Rules.

5.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition stands dismissed as infructuous. The petitioners are at liberty to workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings, if so aggrieved by the contents of the final report. consequently, the connected criminal miscellaneous petition is closed.
