ORDER

The impugned bill had been made without affording an opportunity to the petitioner. The prayer of the writ petitioner itself is only to set aside the same and to direct the respondents to reassess the meter of the petitioner on the ground of violation of principles of natural justice.

Since the bill has been made without affording any opportunity to the petitioner, the demand under the bill impugned is set aside and the matter is remitted back to the second respondent to reassess the case of the petitioner after providing an opportunity to him and thereafter pass appropriate orders. 2/4

3. With the aforesaid directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
