By relying on the sale deeds dated 18.12.1964 and 16.04.1986, the petitioner had submitted a representation dated 05.01.2024 for issuance of a patta. Pursuant thereto, a report was sent by the jurisdictional Tahsildar to the District Revenue Officer.
2. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of both the respondents. He submits that the report of the Tahsildar has been received by the District Revenue Officer and that an order would be issued within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. In view of the above submissions, without making any observations on the merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders thereon on merits within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the 2/4
date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner. No costs.
