The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.04.2013 and provide alternative house plots at free of cost to the petitioner and others, in lieu of demolition of their houses situated in poramboke land in Survey No.20/1 at Aathikulam Village, Koolapandi Pirga, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the Writ Petition may be closed granting liberty to the petitioner approach the authority concerned, to redress his grievance.
