ORDER

This writ petition is filed to conduct public auction for the District Cable Television Operator Service in Ramanathapuram District.

2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 3 submits that the process of cable television service is now changed in view of digital transmission. Now, the District Cable 2/4

Television Operator is designated as Digital Signal Distributor and these operators are identified only through public auction. Therefore, the relief sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 2 and 3, this writ petition is closed as no further orders are required. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
