ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a mandamus directing the respondents to identify and demarcate the plot no.32, which has been allotted to this petitioner in S.No.135/3B at Kattuparamakudi Village, Ramanathapuram District.

2.The petitioner claims that she belong to Scheduled Caste community and her husband is also a daily wage employee. The petitioner is having the requisite qualification for free house site patta and accordingly, the second respondent has allotted a free house site to this petitioner in S.No.135/3B, Kattuparamakudi Village, Ramanathapuram District, by proceedings dated 21.05.2015. Along with this petitioner, 95 others have also been allotted free house sites. This petitioner was allotted with plot no.32. However, the same has not been demarcated and therefore, the petitioner has made a representation and thereafter, filed this writ petition. 2/4

3.Learned Government Advocate, on instructions from the second respondent, submitted that the petitioner was allotted with plot no.32. It was originally numbered as plot no.27. Since some of the allottee have not claimed the house sites, the plots were renumbered, after allotting the existing ones. Therefore, there occurred a confusion as to the plot's number. The petitioner was allotted with plot no.32, which was originally numbered as plot no.27 and that they would identify and demarcate the said plot to the petitioner.

4.In view of the aforesaid representation made by the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition stands disposed of, with a direction to the respondents to identify and demarcate the petitioner's allotted plot, viz., plot no.32 (erstwhile plot no.27), within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Index :
