ORDER

The petitioner has lodged a complaint directly to the first respondent and has filed this petition seeking a direction to the respondent Police to register a case based on her complaint.

2.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the official respondents submits that the complaint of the petitioner has been forwarded by the first respondent to the second respondent and the same has been treated as current paper enquiry, which is still pending.

3.There is no enquiry in the name of current paper enquiry. Complaints are also preferred directly to the Superintendent of Police, instead of lodging complaints before the concerned Police Station. The complaint, which has been forwarded by the first respondent, is pending without even initiating any records. Therefore, this Court directs the respondent Police to complete the enquiry, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event, if the complaint of the petitioner constitutes any cognizable offence, the respondent Police is directed to register a case and take further course of action. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
