When the matter came up for hearing, it was submitted by the learned Counsel for the petitioners that similar representation of the Madurai Puranagar Mavatta Panchalai Thozhilalargal Sangam, was considered by the Government and the same was rejected, vide order, dated 31.01.2017. He further submitted that this writ petition may be disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioners to challenge the order dated 31.01.2017.
