This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a mandamus to transfer her son, who is a convict prisoner bearing Badge No.7554, from the Central Prison, Salem to the Central Prison, Puzhal.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's son was already transferred from the Central Prison, Salem to the Central Prison, Tiruhchirappalli, as such, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.
