mandamus directing the 1st respondent to depute one of his officers from the office of the District Registrar (Societies) Nagercoil as an observer to the Executive Comittee mettings of Vadasai Nagar Hindu Matha Valliyoor Saaliyar Kalvi Niruvanam (Registration No.56/1984) which may be convened by the Secretary for examining the applications received upto 15.11.2016 for enrollment of new members of Vadasai Nagar Hindu Matha Valliyoor Saaliyar Kalvi Niruvanam Society on any date and the proposed meeting of the Executive committee called for by the majority members of the Executive Committee.

2.When the writ petitions are taken up for hearing the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent submits that the period for which election is sought to be conducted is already over and there is no provision in the Tamil Nadu Registration of Societies Act, to depute any observer.

3.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader these writ petitions are dismissed. No costs.
