: Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 herein to take immediate and necessary action against the fourth respondent herein on the basis of petitioner complaint dated 07.09.2016.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 to 3 herein to take immediate and necessary action against the fourth respondent herein on the basis of petitioner's complaint dated 07.09.2016.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents submitted on the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 07.09.2016, the Additional Superintendent of Police, Theni District, has conducted enquiry and the same was closed on 15.02.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

W.P.(MD)No.20675 of 2016 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that no closure report has been served to the petitioner herein. 4.Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the petition is devoid of merits and liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. However, the third respondent is directed to serve the copy of the closure report dated 15.02.2017 to the petitioner herein. No costs.
