ORDER

This petition is filed for a Mandamus directing the second respondent to implement the High Court direction in W.P.No.3455/2013 dated 08.04.2013 to remove the petitioner's name in the history sheet maintained by the Soolakarai Police Station based on the petitioner's representation, dated 27.10.2018.

2.Today, when the matter is called, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted a letter written by the second respondent/Inspector of Police, Soolakarai Police Station to the first respondent/Superintendent of Police, Virudhunagar District recommending that the petitioner's name may be removed in the History Sheet maintained at the Police Station. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that pursuant to this recommendation, the petitioner's name has been removed.
