ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by R.VIJAYAKUMAR, J ] The instant Writ Petition has been filed seeking Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 4 to take effective and immediate steps towards implementing the provisions of "National Sports Development Code of India-2011", more particularly, in connection with the selection of persons for holding elective posts of Office Bearers of the recognized Sports Association / Federation on the strength of the petitioner's representations' dated 07.08.2018 and 23.08.2018.
2.In the affidavit, the petitioner has contended that the offices of the various Sports Association have been filled up by the persons, having political
leanings and therefore, the provisions of National Sports Development Code of India, 2011 had not been implemented.
3.This Court had an occasion to consider a similar issue in W.P.No.3447 of 2019, dated 19.01.2022, wherein in paragraph No.44, a set of directions has been issued by this Court.
4.The learned Standing Counsel for the 4th respondent has specifically contended that they are preparing rules based upon the directions issued by this Court in W.P.No.3447 of 2019.
5.In view of the directions issued by this Court in W.P.No.3447 of 2019, dated 19.01.2022, nothing survives to be adjudicated further in the present Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
