ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned order, dated 06.10.2016 and consequently, direct the respondents to promote the petitioner as Assistant General Manager, as per seniority final list, dated 01.04.2016.

Heard M/s.V.Susheatha, R.Satishkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Shanmugavel, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the 2nd respondent and Mr.D.Shanmugaraja Sethupathi, learned Standing counsel for the 3rd respondent. Perused the material documents available on record.

3. The contention of the petitioner is that the 4th respondent is junior to the petitioner, but the respondents have granted promotion to the petitioner.

4. The contention of the respondents is that the petitoner is not possessing educational qualification as 10+2+3. The petitioner has completed 10+2 and without doing UG degree has completed PG degree and now, he is claiming promotion.

5. Since the petitioner is not having requisite qualification with pattern as 10+2+3, the petitioner is not entitled togetting promotion. Therefore, the respondents have rightly granted promotion to the 4th respondent, who is having requisite qualification. Therefore, the writ petition is liable to be dismissed.
