PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate action against the fifth and sixth respondents running "Recreation Club" situated at Vendhanpatti, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai District and to remove the club as illegal in the same locality, based upon the petitioner's representation dated 14.10.2016 within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

The prayer made in this Writ Petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate action against the fifth and sixth respondents for running "Recreation Club" situated at Vendhanpatti, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, without proper license, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 14.10.2016.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as learned counsel appearing for the fifth respondent submitted that the fifth respondent is no more and that the sixth respondent is not running the recreation club in the place in question. Therefore, nothing survives in this Writ Petition for adjudication.
