4.Manikandan : Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 and to correct the FIR registered in Crime No.240 of 2014 by properly enquiring the facts actually taken place and change the status of the deceased son of petitioner Periyalvar, as a pillion rider instead of the driver of vehicle involved in the accident on 09.04.2014.

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the respondents 1 and 2 and to correct the FIR registered in Crime No.240 of 2014 by properly enquiring the facts actually taken place and change the status of the deceased son of petitioner Periyalvar, as a pillion rider instead of the driver of vehicle involved in the accident on 09.04.2014.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Cr.No.240 of 2014 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not filed already.

4.With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
