This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the impugned FIR in Crime No.1342 of 2020 registered on the file of the first respondent.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that while filing the final report, the name of the second petitioner has been deleted. However, the final report has been filed against the first petitioner. Cognizance of the offences has also been taken and the case is taken on file in C.C.No.863 of 2021 on the file of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madurai. The next hearing date is 05.01.2022. It is for the petitioners to question the final report.
