quash the same as of no legal consequence and consequently direct the respondents to restore the petitioner to her services as that of the Home Guard with all monetary benefits.

It is represented before this Court that the learned counsel for the petitioner is no more. Accordingly, on 27.07.2023, this Court directed the Registry to issue notice to the petitioner. As per the endorsement made by the Registry, notice sent to the petitioner is returned with an endorsement that 'no such addressee is available'. Accordingly, this Court by order dated 08.09.2023 directed the Registry to print the name of the petitioner in the cause list and posted the matter on 22.09.2023. Today also, there is no representation for the petitioner. It appears the petitioner has no interest to prosecute the case.

2. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed for nonprosecution.

3. No costs.

4. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
