ORDER

Mr.C.Satheesh, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2.

2.The writ petition has been filed for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to cancel the forged legal heirship certificate, dated 14.03.2024.

3.Already, the petitioner has approached the Revenue Divisional Officer, Pudukottai District, for cancellation of the legal heirship certificate, dated 14.03.2024 issued to the third respondent.

4.It is the specific case of the petitioner that the petitioner is the younger brother of the third respondent. However, the third respondent has managed to obtain the legal heirship certificate on 14.03.2024, as if the petitioner's father 2/5

late.Kumbalingam, who died on 29.09.1991, had only one legal heir, namely, the third respondent, even though the petitioner is alive and is entitled to included his name as legal heir of late.Kumbalingam.

5.The learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 and 2 confirms that pursuant to the representation dated 14.08.2025 to the second respondent, the case is being enquired by the Office of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Pudukkottai.

6.Considering the same, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Pudukottai District is suo motu impleaded as fourth respondent in this writ petition. 7.The fourth respondent is directed to complete the investigation and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to state, the third respondent shall be heard before final orders are passed by the fourth respondent. 3/5

8.With the aforesaid directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
