ORDER

The present writ petition is listed under the caption "for withdrawal". The learned counsel for the petitioner has sought the liberty of the Court to address the Court on the ground that he limits his prayer with regard to the disposal of the representation. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed off on merits.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has been promoted belatedly in the year 2021 even though vacancies were available in the year 2019-20. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the promotion should have been effected on the basis of the panel prepared for the year 2019-20. However, the promotions have been effected on the basis of fresh panel prepared in the year 2021. Expressing his grievances, the writ petitioner has addressed a representation to the 1st 2/5

respondent herein on 12.07.2023. Considering the fact the representation is pending before the 1st respondent for more than 3 months, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the said representation, dated 12.07.2023 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
