: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to grant agriculture electricity connection to the petitioner so as to draw water from the well situated in Survey No.834/4 Sankarankovil Village, Sankarankovil Taluk, Tirunelveli District for agriculture purpose, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 10.09.2019 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to grant agriculture electricity connection to the petitioner, so as to draw water from the well situated in Survey No.834/4, Sankarankovil Village, Sankarankovil Taluk, Tirunelveli District for agriculture purpose, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 10.09.2019, within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. The petitioner is a tenant under the second respondent Temple. For the agricultural lands owned by the second respondent Temple, they have applied for electricity connection. Since the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.22991 of 2019 application was returned, the tenant filed an application for provision of electricity service connection in the name of the Temple and also undertook to bear all the expenses in this regard. The application is still pending. In such circumstances, the petitioner is before this Court seeking the aforesaid relief.

Heard the submissions made on either side. 4, Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider the representation of the second respondent dated 22.08.2019 and also the representation of the petitioner dated 10.09.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
