3.Muthulakshmi 4.Selvi : Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents 1 and 2 herein in doing Katta Panchayat and interfering with the civil dispute between the petitioners and the respondents 3 and 4 in respect of the land in Nanja in Survey No.492/11, Punja in Survey No.378/10 with two houses in Nainaragaram Village, Kadaiyanallur Taluk, Tirunelveli District.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed forbearing the respondents 1 and 2 herein in doing Katta Panchayat and interfering with the civil dispute between the petitioners and the respondents 3 and 4 in respect of the land in Nanja in Survey No.492/11, Punja in Survey No.378/10 with two houses in Nainaragaram Village, Kadaiyanallur Taluk, Tirunelveli District.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that on the complaint lodged by one Muthulakshmi, the second respondent has conducted detailed enquiry after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the same was closed.

W.P.(MD)No.21084 of 2016 3.It is seen that there is a civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the respondents 3 and 4 herein in respect of the land in Nanja in Survey No.492/11, Punja in Survey No.378/10 with two houses in Nainaragaram Village, Kadaiyanallur Taluk, Tirunelveli District. Therefore, the first and second respondents have no role to play in the civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the respondents 3 and 4 herein. As such, the first and second respondents are directed not to interfere with the civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the respondents 3 and 4 herein except any crime committed by the petitioner and the respondents 3 and 4.

4.With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petition is closed.
