This matter is listed before me for the second time.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that a communication has been sent to the petitioner seeking instructions, but the petitioner has not responded to the same. 2/4

However, the learned standing counsel appearing for the first respondent would submit that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has now become infructuous, in view of the fact that on 16.07.2019 itself, the request for family pension in respect of the petitioner, namely, Mr.S.Raja, was sanctioned and the proceedings of the first respondent dated 16.07.2019 sanctioning the family pension has also been placed on record by the learned standing counsel appearing for the first respondent.

4. In view of the same, since the prayer sought for in this writ petition has been achieved, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition and accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
