ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court in the year 2016 with a grievance that the respondents 5 to 9 had excommunicated the petitioner and his family from the village and that the petitioner was prevented from participating in any function in the village. 2/4

2.Though notice was served on the respondents 5 to 9, there is no representation on their behalf.

3.Learned Additional Government Pleader has produced the written instructions received from the third respondent / Tahsildar dated 26.05.2023 and submitted that pursuant to his communication, the Tahsildar has conducted a peace committee meeting with the petitioner and the respondents 5 to 9 and in that meeting, the dispute between both the parties have amicably been resolved.

4.Recording the statement made by the third respondent / Tahsildar, this writ petition is closed as no further order is required to be passed. It is made clear that it is the duty of the Tahsildar to ensure that the practice of excommunication is not prevailing in her Taluk. There shall be no order as to costs.
