Respondents Prayer :- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 07.10.2022, on the meeting conducted by the fifth respondent and to pass appropriate orders within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioners have prayed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to consider their representation, dated 07.10.2022, on the meeting conducted by the fifth respondent and to pass appropriate orders within a time frame.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.Baskaran, learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and 2/5

5 submitted that already a meeting has been convened and the views of the Councilors have been obtained and the third respondent/District Collector, Trichy District, is in the process of considering the said report and appropriate orders would be passed within a period of one week. 3.

Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and 5, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
