ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/accused No.7, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(b), 29(1) of 1/3

Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in Crime No.160 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 24.07.2022 when the respondent police was on routine check up they found the petitioner along with other accused persons having possession of 1 kg. 300 gms of Ganja at the back side of the first accused's house. Hence, the case.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner is having two previous cases similar in nature. After completing the investigation final report has been filed before the Principal EC & NDPS Court, Madurai and the same was taken cognizance in C.C.No.310 of 2023. Now the case was posted on 29.09.2023. 4.After filing the final report showing the petitioner as absconding accused, NBW was issued against the petitioner. Apart from that the petitioner is having two previous cases similar in nature. Therefore, the petitioner is not entitled for any discretionary relief from this Court. He has to surrender before the concerned and seek regular bail.

5.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition stands dismissed.
