2. As early as on 10.08.2023, learned counsel on record for the petitioner had filed a memo stating that he is reporting no instructions in this matter, as he has handed over the case bundle to the petitioner. Based on the said submission, this Court directed the Registry to print the name of the petitioner in the cause list and post the matter on 24.08.2023.
3. Once again, on 24.08.2023, the matter was listed for hearing. Even on 24.08.2023, there was no representation on the side of the petitioner
and therefore, this Court adjourned the matter to 08.09.2023. Even on 08.09.2023, there was no representation on the side of the petitioner once again and therefore, this Court directed the Registry to list the matter under the caption "for dismissal" on 22.09.2023.
4. On 22.09.2023, once again, there was no representation on the side of the petitioner. Thereafter, this matter has been listed today. The name of the petitioner is once again printed in the cause list today. This writ petition is of the year 2016. It can now be inferred that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting this writ petition.
5. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 30.08.2024 NCC :
