ORDER
The petitioner has approached this Court that her complaint has not been addressed by the respondent Police.
2.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents submits that it is a matrimonial dispute and therefore, the complaint of the petitioner has been referred to the Social Welfare Officer, on 21.08.2025.
3.Since it is a matrimonial dispute, respondent Police has rightly referred the complaint to the Social Welfare Officer. Therefore, this writ petition is closed with a direction to the petitioner to co-operate before the Social 2/5
Welfare Officer. The respondent Police shall ensure that the in-laws also co-operate for the enquiry before the Social Welfare Officer. The respondent Police is expected to take further course of action, based on the report of the Social Welfare Officer. If the complaint of the petitioner closed, the respondent Police shall furnish a copy of the closure report to the petitioner enabling her to workout her remedy in the manner known to law.
