Heard the learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner. 1/4

2.The petitioner is the plaintiff in O.S.No.552 of 2022 on the file of V Additional District Judge, Madurai. The petitioner seeks speedy disposal of the suit. In normal circumstances, I will not issue such direction. This is because I am not cognizant of the workload of the Court below. There must be justification for giving out of turn treatment to a particular suit. But then, the petitioner's counsel points out that the petitioner is aged about 85 years. The suit filed by the senior citizen has to be given priority treatment.

3.Considering the age of the petitioner, I direct the learned trial Judge to dispose of O.S.No.552 of 2022 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.This Civil Revision Petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
