reimburse the petitioner's retirement benefits with an interest of 6.5% from the date of the petitioner relieving on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner dated 22.07.2023, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to reimburse the petitioner's retirement benefits with interest at the rate of 6.5% from the date of the petitioner's retirement based on the petitioner's representation dated 22.07.2023.

2.Till date, counter affidavit has not been filed by the respondents.

3.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is directed to be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has also not raised any serious objection, if such a direction is issued.

5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the case.

6.For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the first respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 22.07.2023, seeking for reimbursement of the petitioner's retirement benefits with interest at the rate of 6.5% from the date of the petitioner's retirement, within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
