The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to issue joint patta in respect of the property in S.No. 263/32 in Keezhasooranam Village, Sooranam Post, Ilayangudi Taluk, Sivaganai District by considering the Petitioner's representation, dated 30.6.2025.(The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that survey number is wrongly mentioned as S.No.262/32 in the prayer portion. The said statement is recorded.) 2.Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent of both parties,the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.According to the Petitioner, the subject property has been in possession and enjoyment of the Petitioner's family from the days of his great grand- father Vaiyapuri Servai. Based on their long possession, the petitioner submitted a representation on 30.6.2025 seeking seeking issuance of joint patta for the aforementioned land. The same has not been considered so far. Hence the Petitioner is before this Court with the present Writ 2/5

4.Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 30.06.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits after affording reasonable opportunity to the Petitioner, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of a copy of this order.
6.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
