ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondent / the Tahsildar, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District to survey and demarcate the properties of the petitioner in Survey Nos. 136/16, 136/17, 140/5, 141/1, 142/2, 142/5, 143/2, 148/1, 152/3, 153/16, 153/7, 334/4, 334/2 and in Survey Nos.146/1, 146/2, 146/4, 147/2 measuring to the extent of 6 acres and 62 cents situated at Pudhunilaivayal Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District.

2. The petitioner had purchased the property on 12.02.2016 by way of a sale deed registered as Document No.128/2016 on the file of the Sub Registrar, Keelanilai.

A direction is given to the respondent to issue notice to the petitioner, examine the petitioner, examine the documents of the petitioner, examine whether the petitioner is in possession and also issue notice to any of the adjacent owners, if required and thereafter, proceed to conduct survey and demarcate the properties of the petitioner. The entire exercise should be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is also informed that the petitioner had filed necessary application and had also paid necessary fees for the same.

5. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
